ABOUT THE COLLECTION:
It was a beautiful aura. A land where the innocence of forests sway in the breeze and backwaters display their inspirational beauty. God’s own country is a true testament to harmony between humans and nature. “ALOHA AINA” Spring Summer’21 is inspired by the memories of the pristine and serene state Kerala that lies in the South-Eastern part of India and is much favored due to its exotic wildlife, herbs, emerald green hill stations, and the crystal clear Arabian Sea along its coast. It is indeed God's own country.
The child with the thought of divinity rejoices the network of turquoise and serene streams and canals, all beautifully interwoven. Organic Cotton and handwoven textiles are used to handcraft floaty, dreamy, and whimsical flowing dresses, chic skirts, and sheer shirts. Hand embroidered tiny wildflowers, dotting pasture ponds and serenity, caress each piece. Detailed fasteners of natural materials are illuminated with hand-embroidered motifs. This is a slow-made, zero-waste collection tailored in a labor of love.
Littleens always wants a kid to be very conscious about the environment he/she lives in. In practice, it is continuously working to improve all stages of its lifestyle products, from design, raw material production, manufacturing, transport, storage, marketing, and final sale, to use, reuse, repair, remake, and recycling of the product and its components. The intensified evidence of the fashion industry’s impact on the environment in the last decade prompted us to the inception of a sustainable brand.
We, spearheaded by sustainability-driven coalitions, are mobilizing the kid’s lifestyle collectively towards adopting sustainable materials and practices through our design, development, and supply chains, and have already garnered formal commitments from key players in the fashion industry which represent a sizeable portion of the market.
The main responsibility of Littleens is to bring a different ethical pattern of the production, distribution, and marketing practices and strategies towards greater sustainability in the market. We strive to create fashion and lifestyle for kids that are of high quality, timeless designs, long-lasting style, and ethically durable.
